Anu Menon

Anu Menon (born Anuradha Menon in Madras ) is an Indian director and screenwriter. She turned z. B. Films like London, Paris, New York (2012) or Waiting (2016) and worked with artists like Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin . Menon has successfully completed the London Film School.

Life

Anu grew up in Delhi and studied in KV Andrews Ganj. She received her bachelor's degree from BITS Pilani and then worked in the advertising industry. She also took part in a workshop at the New York Film Academy and enrolled in a course at the London Film School .

Anu Menon is married, her husband comes from Kerala and they have a daughter together.

Career

In her early career, Amu mainly made short films, e.g. B. Ravi Goes To School , and Baby , a documentary film. Her debut film was a romantic comedy called London, Paris, New York (2012). The second film, Waiting (2016) feat. Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah, was produced by Ishka Films and Drishyam Films.

Menon also participated in a multi-director project called X: Past Is Present . In the project she headed the "Oysters" department.
