Apache Portals is a project of the Apache Software Foundation . It currently contains the following sub-projects:

Jetspeed-1

Jetspeed is an enterprise information portal that was programmed using Java and XML . The individual pages of the portal are made up of portlets .

Jetspeed-2

This is the latest version of Jetspeed, it includes Pluto and thus supports the Java portlet specification.

Pluto

Pluto is a reference implementation of the Java Portlet Specification.

WSRP-4J

Supports the integration of remote portal applications via web services in portlets . In the portlets only the display takes place, whereas the application itself runs on another server.
