Aphron
In the scientific sense, an aphron is a phase surrounded by an enclosing soap film , for example a soap bubble to avoid misunderstandings with z. B. to bypass the versatile term bubble .
The use of this term is, however, controversial. It is proposed that a collection of such structures should not be referred to as polyaphrons , but rather should be called highly concentrated fluid / fluid dispersions in the sense of conventional and general terminology .
This name has its origin in the Greek term for foam ( αφροσ ).
