Apostolic Lutheran Church of America

The Apostolic Lutheran Church of America is a small denomination within North American Lutheranism . It has its roots in the Scandinavian revival of Laestadianism . The first church was founded by Finnish immigrants in Minneapolis , Minnesota in 1872 . Today the Church has more than 50 wards in the United States and Canada with regional emphasis in Michigan , Minnesota , Oregon, and Washington .
