The Aqseptence Group GmbH is a company for systems, components and services in the field of filtration, separation and water technology. The Aqseptence Group employs around 1400 people, of which around 200 are employed at the headquarters in Aarbergen .

history

In 1652 Count Johannes zu Nassau-Idstein founded the Michelbacher Hütte , which Adolph Samuel Passavant took over in 1884. In 1917 the business was continued by Wilhelm Passavant, son of the founder. In 1980 the company name was changed to Passavant-Werke AG . In 1999 the company merged with Roediger-Anlagenbau and since then has been known as Passavant-Roediger Umwelttechnik .

In 2003 the German company Noggerath , manufacturer of products and services in the field of municipal and industrial water treatment, was acquired. In 2004, another company from Germany named Intech , a provider of products and services in the field of municipal energy optimization, was acquired. In the following year, the German companies Geiger and Roediger Vacuum and the American company Airvac were also acquired.

In 2006 the name was changed to Passavant-Geiger GmbH . In the course of 2011, the " Filtration " division of the Italian company Diemme was acquired. In 2013 the American company Johnson Screens was acquired , but the Johnson Screens South Africa and Lexington parts of the company were sold on in the same year and the company was renamed Bilfinger Water Technologies GmbH . Another name change to Aqseptence Group GmbH took place in 2016.

The name combines the words " aq ua" and " sep aration" and thus refers to the core business in water and separation technology. At the same time, the term "compe swings tence " with.

The logo is the visualization of a drop of water in connection with a filter - and symbolizes the core business.
