The AQUILA Aviation International GmbH is a medium-sized company based in the Brandenburg Schönhagen. The company's current purpose is to develop and manufacture the AQUILA A211 , a VLA for general aviation and a CAMO +. In Germany, sales are direct, outside Germany through sales partners in France , Austria , Scandinavia , the USA , Australia , the Netherlands and Great Britain .

history

The company was founded in 1996 as Aquila Technische Entwicklung GmbH . In 2005, the company filed for insolvency on its own . The company was taken over by the Egyptian entrepreneur Mohammed Rady Amar in spring 2008 and renamed Aquila Aviation by Excellence . The name was simplified to AQUILA Aviation GmbH on May 30, 2013. In mid-2014, the company was sold to Yehia Farrag, the brother of entrepreneur Rainer Farraq ( Trixy Aviation gyroplane ). In February 2015, the new investor Mohamed Ilpa became the owner of the company. After insolvency proceedings that were applied for in May 2015 and opened in August 2015, Aquila Aviation GmbH was taken over by the Turkish automotive supplier BPlas from Bursa in January 2016 and now operates under the name AQUILA Aviation International GmbH.

AQUILA has had its headquarters since it was founded in 1996 at Schönhagen Airport near Trebbin .

AQUILA Aviation International GmbH has 1700 m 2 of production and 500 m 2 of office space.
