Aragon is an Australian progressive rock band that was formed in 1987.

Band history

The band self- published the mini-LP Don't Bring the Rain soon after it was founded . Aragon played Neo-Prog with Genesis and Marillion influences, and they got good reviews. In 1990 an expanded CD version of the debut was released. Another mini-album followed two years later, in 1993 a compilation with unreleased older pieces and live recordings. The concept albums Mouse and Mr. Angel were released in 1995 and 1997, respectively, now without the participation of Tony Italia. After a break of several years, Aragon released their last album to date in 2004, but the band is still sporadically active.
