Araltuz ( Russian Аралтуз ) is a salt producer in Kazakhstan . With a market share of 55 percent, the company is the largest salt producer in Kazakhstan. Araltuz produces both table salt and technical salt.

Salt mining on the Aral Sea began in 1913. The Sol-Artel company was finally founded in 1925 to mine salt at the Jaksylysh salt lakes . This company was a predecessor of Araltuz. In the course of privatization, Araltuz was created in 1994.

With extensive modernization measures, production reached international standards in 1996. Since then, Araltuz has also been active in Russia , Central Asia and other CIS countries .
