The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Industriebau e. V. (AGI), based in Bensheim , was founded on March 28, 1958 and promotes the development of competitive locations and economical industrial buildings for German companies.

The initiator and 1st chairman of the AGI was Walter Henn .

Members are all major companies in German industry as well as selected companies in the building materials industry , construction suppliers, selected planning and project management offices and some university institutes .

The organ of publication is the IndustrieBAU magazine , which is published by FORUM Verlag.

The AGI publishes worksheets and works on current topics in working and regional groups.
