The working group of German-speaking male prostitutes (AKSD) is a specialist group for socio-educational and psychosocial work in the male prostitution scene and was founded in 1993 in Frankfurt am Main .

The institutions of the AKSD have different forms of organization, ranging from registered, non-profit organizations to AIDS aid projects , the Inner Mission or the Old Catholic Church . The funding bases are just as different (municipal social, youth or health authorities, EU funds, donations and third-party funds).

Health-promoting measures are a central component of socio-educational and psychosocial work. So u. a. the living conditions of male prostitutes are stabilized and improved. This succeeds z. B. by opening a low- threshold contact point. There, the clients should be able to relax, pursue their personal hygiene, eat something and do their laundry, and receive qualified advice on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases . Since many prostitutes do not speak the German language, it is necessary that employees also work as language mediators with intercultural competence in the facilities. If necessary, an accompaniment to offices, authorities, etc. can be used. Fast, flexible and unbureaucratic help measures are often necessary. Areas
The area of activity of socio-educational male sex work moves outside of socially recognized norms and values.
