Arben Basha

Arben Basha (* 1947 in Tirana ) is an Albanian film set painter .

life and work

Arben Basha is best known for his contribution to Albania's socialist-realistic film. The first film he was involved in is Thirrja . For many years Basha was a set painter at the cinema studio Shqipëria e Re and was involved in several commissioned films. Arben Basha exhibited the painting I Will Write (1971) at documenta 14 .
