Archippus

Archippus is a person in the New Testament and is considered one of the Seventy disciples . Archippus is mentioned in Col 4.17  EU , where Paul instructs him to take care to fulfill the service that he has taken on. From this it is deduced that Archippus officiated as bishop in Colossae . In Phlm 1,2  EU he is called “fellow combatant” (συστρατιώτης) of Paul.

Archippus is venerated as a saint . His feast day in the Catholic Church is March 20th .
