Aries Toledo (born November 2, 1993 ) is a Filipino decathlete .

Career

Melvin Calano gained his first international experience in 2017, when he won the gold medal in the decathlon at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with a new national record of 7,433 points and with the Philippine 4-by-400-meter staffe in 3: 08.42 minutes Won silver medal behind the teams from Thailand and Vietnam. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time, but could not finish his competition there, as was the case at the 2019 Asian Athletics Championships in Doha . In December he then defended his decathlon title at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 7033 points.
