Aristotle, works in German translation

Aristotle, Works in German Translation is the title of the currently authoritative complete edition of the writings of the ancient philosopher Aristotle in German translation. It has not yet been completed, currently (2013) comprises around 30 volumes and is published by Akademie Verlag in Berlin. In addition to the translation of the Aristotelian writings, detailed commentaries on them are also printed.

The first editor was from 1956 to 1967 Ernst Grumach , since Grumach's death Hellmut Flashar has been the editor.
