Arizona State Route 169 , also known as Cerry Road , is a highway in the US state of Arizona that runs in an east-west direction.
The highway begins on Arizona State Route 69 in Dewey and ends on Interstate 17 . The State Route is the direct link between Prescott and the Verde Valley and is not as dangerous as Arizona State Route 89A over the mountains to Jerome .
The road runs from east to west, although the odd number suggests a north-south highway.
