Arkcharm is a cultivar of the cultivated apple .
This variety was bred at the University of Arkansas as a cross between ' Prima ' and 'Hybrid 36055'.
Plant variety protection has existed for the variety since 1995 .
description
This variety is a juicy and sour early apple. The pulp is white, the skin is primed green to yellow and has a bright red covering color. The fruit size varies between medium and large.
The fruits are ripe for picking from the beginning of August.
The trees of this variety are susceptible to fruit tree cancer , but only very slightly to scab and powdery mildew .
The bark of this variety has a characteristic light brown color.
