Armenian Museum (Antelias)

The Armenian Museum in Antelias , a northern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, is also known as the Cilicia Museum and was opened to the public in 1998.

The museum is located on the grounds of the Armenian Catholicate of Cilicia .

Sacred art, old manuscripts and the genocide of the Armenians , emigration and modern visual art of the Armenians are presented on four floors . Next to the museum there is a library with 80,000 books, magazines etc. The museum was built from 1993 to 1997 and has been open to the public since 1998.
