Arno Schäfer (born August 31, 1954 in Winnenden ) is a former German soccer player.
He already played for VfB Stuttgart in his youth . In the summer of 1973 he joined the club's first team. From 1973 to 1979 the defender played a total of 85 championship games for the Swabians. After he was not used in the professional team in the 1979/80 season, he played for the amateurs of VfB.
