The ARRIBA adventure pool was opened in 1994 in Norderstedt ( Schleswig-Holstein ) by Stadtwerke Norderstedt . With 3000 square meters of water and the adjoining sauna village, it is the largest adventure pool in Schleswig-Holstein. The company counts around 800,000 visitors annually.

location

The adventure pool in the Garstedt district is near the federal highway 432 . The “ARRIBA-Bad” stop can be reached with the two bus routes 393 and 178.

In addition to a large indoor and outdoor facility with a variety of different pools, the ARRIBA has 6 saunas and a weekly aqua fitness program. The on-site restaurant offers visitors the opportunity to eat. The company has a total of 680 car parking spaces and 350 bicycle parking spaces. Various events are organized in the adventure pool and the sauna village, depending on the season.

Water world

In the interior, the ARRIBA offers, in addition to the adventure and sports pool, the mini island for children as well as a saltwater pool and a thermal bath. The water temperatures are adapted to the individual pools and are between 26 ° C and 33 ° C.

In August 2007 the slide park with 5 different lanes was opened. This includes a 38 meter long turbo slide, two family slides, each 10 meters in length, a 124 meter long wild water stream and a tire slide 115 meters in length. The slide park has been supplemented by Europe's first fishpipe since 2017. The so-called "summer meadow" forms the outdoor area with a large lawn and three swimming pools. In addition to the 50 meter long sports pool, there is a non-swimmer pool and a baby oasis. Play opportunities complete the offer.

Sauna village

The sauna village consists of six different saunas (fireplace sauna, log cabin sauna, panorama sauna, vital sauna, aroma sauna), a steam bath, the glacier cave and an oxygen cabin. There are also rest and sleeping rooms available for relaxation. The garden, which is open all year round, has a heated whirlpool, a small swimming pool, loungers and beach chairs. Parasols and additional seating are also provided.

Fitness world

In addition to water exercise and an aqua fitness program, there is a wide range of massages, massage chairs and massage tables on offer. An infrared cabin and solariums are also available.

Arriba lido

The Arriba lido is located in Norderstedt's city park. The 4,000 square meter sandy beach and the surrounding lawn are open every year from June to August, depending on the weather. A 100-meter lane, a non-swimmer pool and three swimming pontoons are available. Beach soccer and beach volleyball courts and a large jumping cushion are available for further leisure activities.

Awards

The German Society for Consumer Studies ranked the Arriba adventure pool among Germany's best adventure pools in 2018. The company received the quality rating “Outstanding”.
