Artūras Skardžius
Artūras Skardžius (born November 17, 1960 in Subačius , district of Kupiškis ) is a Lithuanian manager and politician, member of the Seimas , former vice-president of parliament.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1978 at Panevėžys Second Middle School , Artūras Skardžius graduated in 1986 with a degree in industrial engineering at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas . From 1984 to 1988 he worked as an engineer in Vilnius , from 1994 to 1998 he was commercial director of "Nefra" and from 1999 to 2000 director of UAB "Rastma", board member of UAB "Vilniaus vaisiai ir daržovės" and UAB "Dzūkijos dujos", from 1998 to 2000 president of a business association ( Lietuvos vaisių ir daržovių prekybos įmonių asociacija "Vaisiai ir daržovės" ).
From 2000 to 2004 he was a member and deputy chairman of the Seima with Naujoji sąjunga .
