Arte Journal Junior (own spelling: ARTE Journal Junior ) is a special news format from Arte that is specifically aimed at children between the ages of ten and 14 ( children's news ). Dorothée Haffner , Carolyn Höfchen and Magali Kreuzer have alternated between presenting the magazine on Sunday morning since February 2014 . Frank Rauschendorf has also been part of the team since 2015 . On September 5, 2016, Rebecca Donauer moderated the show. As with the Arte Journal model, this youth edition also deals with topics from Europe and around the world. Each program has a contribution in which German or French students ask questions about a current topic. In addition, a child from a foreign country introduces his life, his school and his future dreams.

Since September 7, 2015, an edition of the children's news can also be seen Monday through Friday at around 7:30 a.m. on linear television. The episodes can always be viewed online the day before from 6:30 p.m. This format consists of two articles a day and a five-part series within a selected topic complex about current world events.
