Walter Jesinghaus
Reinhold Walter Jesinghaus (born July 28, 1871 in Barmen , today Wuppertal , † July 8, 1950 in Philippsthal ) was a German teacher , writer and philosopher .
He studied in Marburg , Strasbourg , Greifswald and Bonn and received his doctorate in 1901 with a thesis on Nietzsche . After teaching positions in Essen and Bonn, he became a senior teacher at the municipal Helmholtz high school in Berlin-Schöneberg in 1911 . He later headed the secondary school in Bad Vacha. In 1927 he became a Ministerialrat in the Thuringian Ministry of Education in Weimar .
He was a member of the scientific advisory board of the Weimar Nietzsche Edition and was a member of the board of the Nietzsche Archive from 1931 to 1945 , with which he had come into contact through Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche .
