Arte Sustenibile UNO

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The exhibition Arte Sustenibile UNO was shown for the first time from June to August 2008 in Bad Urach near Stuttgart. Further stations were the Federal Environment Agency (2008), the art and exhibition hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (2009) and the RE-ART Halle Ihlienworth near Cuxhaven (2009). In 2010 the exhibition was shown in the Menzervilla Neckargemünd and, on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture Ruhr 2010, in the Art Museum Gelsenkirchen. In 2011, the exhibition at SAP's international training center ran from mid-April to the end of September in Walldorf (Baden) near Heidelberg. In 2012 it runs from February 26th to April 22nd, 2012 in the garden of the Schmitthenner House, in the Heilig-Geist-Kirche and in the Providenzkirche Heidelberg. Concept artist and curator Samuel J. Fleiner put together an impressive show with 70 artists, designers and university groups from 17 nations. Each exhibit contains at least one reference to the concept of sustainability. The exhibition turns the complex concept of sustainability into a "first-hand experience" . Fleiner proceeded from the definitions that the United Nations had agreed on in the World Conferences in Rio (1992) and Johannesburg (2002).

subjects

In addition to resource protection and energy efficiency , topics such as B. Microcredits (economic development), social development ( using the example of specific interventions by the Wiener Gruppe Wochenklausur) and development cooperation. The German-Angolan painting project of the Conexao Cultural group, where German painters were trained and integrated by Angolan artists, is particularly exciting. The topic of energy efficiency is represented by two world record cars. The PAC-Car II hydrogen car from ETH Zurich drives 5385 km on the equivalent of 1 liter of petrol. This world record was set in 2005 and could not be broken until 2011. The Hysun3000 is suitable for everyday use and holds the world record for road-legal vehicles. It also runs on hydrogen and needs the equivalent of 0.4 l of petrol per 100 km. Further topics: art in local public transport, recycling art and Arte Povera, flying with solar energy , art from marginalized areas, art made from renewable raw materials, innovative bicycles, energy crops in painting, climate change, ceramics from the wood stove, innovative towing kites ( SkySails ) in cargo shipping , Solar art, solar thermal plastics, human powered art and wind kinetics. The term solar thermal plastic stands for objects that have been thermally deformed in the solar ovens of the German Aerospace Society (DLR) and Plataforma Solar in Almería at up to 3000 degrees Celsius. These high temperatures even melt stones. They are achieved through intelligently controlled mirror concentrators.
