Artemas

Artemas is counted among the seventy disciples . He is mentioned in the letter of Titus , where Paul declares in Tit 3:12  EU that he wants to send either Artemas or Tychicus as messenger to Titus and that he, Titus, should then come to Paul in Nicopolis. Artemas is said to have been bishop in Lystra in Asia Minor . He is venerated as a saint ; his feast day is October 30th .
