Artemivsk
Artemivsk (Ukrainian Артемівськ ) is the name of two cities in Ukraine:
- Artemivsk (Perewalsk) in Luhansk Oblast, Perewalsk Raion
- Today's Bachmut in Donetsk Oblast was called Artemiwsk until February 2016
Like the Russian equivalent Artjomowsk / Артёмовск, the name is derived from the nickname Artjom of the Russian revolutionary Fyodor Sergejew .
