Artur Pappenheim Prize

The Artur Pappenheim Prize is a science prize that has been awarded since 1970 for research in the field of hematology . The award honors scientists under 40 years of age for outstanding German-language work in the field of clinical, experimental or theoretical hematology.

The prize was named after the German hematologist Artur Pappenheim (1870–1916), on the occasion of whose 100th birthday the prize was donated in 1970 by the then German Society for Hematology .

The Artur Pappenheim Prize is endowed with 7,500 euros (as of 2020).

The winners will be announced and the awards will be presented at the annual meeting of the German Society for Hematology and Medical Oncology (DGHO) .
