Arthur's Kaimiņš

Artuss Kaimiņš (born November 3, 1980 in Bauska ) is a Latvian actor and politician .

Life

His parents are lawyer Māris Mūrnieks and Liene Kaimiņa. Kaimins completed an apprenticeship as an actor. In a traffic accident in which he was involved, two of his fellow actors died in 2003. He hosts the Dog Kennel ( Suņu Būda ) radio program on the Latvian radio station Boom FM .

Politician

He has been a member of the Saeima since 2014 . On October 8, 2018, he again succeeded in entering the Saeima as a member of parliament in the parliamentary elections .

He was initially a party member of the Latvijas Reģionu apvienība , which he left in the dispute and was elected party chairman of the KPV LV , which he co-founded on May 3, 2016. Here, too, he did not find a permanent political home, rather was expelled from the parliamentary group in January 2020.
