Aruzza

As a unit of mass (weight measure) , Aruzza was the "grain of rice" in the Arab world and in Portuguese East Africa , today's Mozambique .

  • 1 aruzza = 1/240 Dīnār / Miṯqāl = 25 Ḫardal (mustard seeds) = 0.01858 grams
    • 1 miṯqāl (canonical) = 4.45 grams
