Arvydas Ivaškevičius
Arvydas Ivaškevičius (born November 10, 1956 in Rudėnai , Jonava Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1979, he completed his diploma studies at the Faculty of Radio Electronics at the Kauno politechnikos institutas . In 1979 he worked as a master and engineer at Šiaulių televizorių gamykla in Šiauliai . From 1983 to 1985 he served in the Soviet Army . From 1985 to 1987 he worked as a technologist. From 1987 to 1990 he was secretary of the Lietuvos komunistų partija in the factory and from 1990 to 1991 second secretary of the LKP of the city of Šiauliai. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas . He then worked at the Tax Office ( Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija ) at the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania .
From 1983 to 1991 he was a member of LKP and from 1991 of LDDP .
