The State Tax Inspectorate at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania ( Lithuanian Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija prie Lietuvos Respublikos finansų ministerijos ) is a state institution in Lithuania , the highest national tax administration authority.
history
The Tax Inspectorate was established at the Ministry of Finance (Lithuania) under the Law of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Lithuania ( Lietuvos Respublikos mokesčių administravimo įstatymas ). From June 1990 to June 28, 1995, the Law of the State Tax Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania ( Lietuvos Respublikos valstybinės mokesčių inspekcijos įstatymas ) was in force. It then became a tax administration law.
