Violeta Latvienė
Violeta Latvienė is a Lithuanian politician, deputy minister and former head of the tax inspection at the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania .
Life
After graduating from secondary school, Latvienė graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas with a degree in finance and credit in 1984 . From 1979 to 1991 she worked as an auditor at the Ministry of Finance (Lithuania) , from 1991 to 1995 as deputy head of the VMI subdivision. From 1995 to 1996 she was Deputy Department Director at the Ministry of Finance and from 1996 to 2000 Vice Minister of Finance. From 2000 to 2002 Violeta Latvienė worked at Bank AB “ Hansa-LTB ”. From 2002 to 2005 she was head of VMI. From August 2005 she was the director of economics and finance in the “ Achemos grupė ” concern . Since 2013 she has been an advisor to the Minister of Finance Rimantas Šadžius .
