Koncernas "Achemos grupė" (dt. Achema Group , Eng. Achema Group ) is the third largest group in Lithuania . The group is mainly active in the Baltic States but also in the rest of Europe . The Achemos Group manages around 40 companies, mainly in the chemical , pharmaceutical, food and construction industries . There are also companies from the logistics , trade, energy, finance, health, education and media sectors .

In 2013 the company achieved a turnover of 1 billion euros (2013) and a profit of 121.1 million litas (35 million euros). The asset was of 2.914 billion litas (844 million euros ). In 2015 the company achieved a profit of 101 million euros (2017: 74 million euros).

history

UAB "Koncernas Achemos grupė" holding company was established in Jonalaukis Village , Jonava Rajong Municipality ( Kaunas District ). Founder, owner and president was the chemist, industrialist, politician and entrepreneur Bronislovas Lubys (1938–2011), a former Prime Minister of Lithuania. The company's headquarters were later moved to Vilnius ( Naujamiestis district ).

Shareholders

The major shareholders are Lyda Lubienė (38.75%) and (the daughters of Lubys) Viktorija Lubytė (* 1998) and Jūratė Žadeikienė (11.63% each). Other shareholders are Marija Kaminskienė and Jonas Sirvydis (7% each), Arūnas Laurinaitis (4.75%), Rimantas Rėklaitis (4.42%), Faustas Kriaučionis (4%), Eduardas Plauška (2.3%), Česlovas Skiedra , Juozas Virmantas Jurgaitis and Algirdas Ivanauskas (2% each), Armantas Gintautas and Tautvydas Misiūnas (1% each), Adomas Žadeika (0.5%).
