Valdemaras Vareika

Valdemaras Vareika (* 1963 in the Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian engineer and manager, general director of the third largest Lithuanian company " Achemos grupė ".

Life

After graduating from high school, he studied mechanics at the mechanics faculty at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1986 and became an engineer- mechanic , worked in the industrial association " Azotas " in Jonava . He then took on leading positions. He was Remontmeister, head of the methanol colliery, head of colliery No. 1 and No. 2 for ammonia production, deputy technical director and from 2008 to 2012 production director, from April 25, 2012 to June 2013 he was general director of AB "Achema" . Since June 2013 he has headed the UAB " Achemos grupė ".

Vareika is married. He and Ms Birutė, who works for UAB “ Transachema ”, have daughters Gintarė and Vitautė.
