Rimvydas Vaštakas

Rimvydas Vaštakas (born March 15, 1960 in Raseiniai ) is a Lithuanian manager and former politician and vice minister .

Life

In 1978, after graduating from the 10th Klaipėda Middle School , he graduated in 1983 from the Faculty of Mechanical Technology of the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas . From 1983 to 1987 he taught at the Political Science Center in Klaipėda, and from 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the Seima . From 2003 to 2007 he was director of "Klaipėdos Smeltė", from 2009 to 2012 Deputy Minister of Transport of Lithuania . Since September he has been general director of the Lithuanian group Achemos grupė . From 1990 to 1995 he was a member of the Klaipėdas City Council.

He is the president of Lietuvos logistikos asociacija , council member of Klaipėdos pramonininkų asociacija and Klaipėdos jūrų uosto plėtojimo taryba.
