Lietuvos rytas ( lit. for Lithuania's morning ) is the largest daily newspaper in Lithuania in terms of number of readers . In March 2002 one number reached 25.22 percent of the readership (703,240 readers, people aged 15 to 75 years). The circulation varies according to the day of the week and ranges from 65,000 on Monday to 165,000 on Saturday. The newspaper does not appear on Sundays. It is published by the UAB “Lietuvos rytas”.

The newspaper has been appearing under its current name since 1990 as the direct successor to Komjaunimo tiesa , the Lithuanian version of Komsomolskaya Pravda , published in the Soviet Union . In 2000 UAB Lietuvos rytas employed 1,092 people.

The editor-in-chief is Gedvydas Vainauskas .
