Domininkas Velička
Domininkas Velička (born November 2, 1940 in Kaunas , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian oenologist and former politician.
Life
After graduating from Adomas Mickevičius Middle School in 1958 , he studied physics at the Vilniaus universitetas from 1960 to 1966 , specializing in spectroscopy . From 1966 to 1977 he worked at the research institute "Termoizoliacija". From 1994 to 2000 he worked in the company "Bennet Distributors". From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas .
As an oenologist, he wrote hundreds of articles about wine for the daily newspapers “ Lietuvos rytas ”, “ Respublika ” and various magazines .
He and his wife Vida Saulaitė have daughters Viktorija and Ugnė.
