Uždaroji akcinė bendrovė

The Uždaroji akcinė bendrovė (UAB, German, Closed Joint Stock Company ') is a joint stock company by Lithuanian law , on the other legal or natural persons with a capital contribution participate. The UAB belongs to the group of corporations and is similar to the German GmbH or the British Limited . Since the introduction of the euro on January 1, 2015, the share capital has been at least € 2500 (previously 10,000 litas ).

The UAB liable for liabilities to creditors comparison with wholly with all its assets. On the other hand, no claims can be made against the shareholders themselves ( principle of separation ).
