Henryk Leon Strasburger

Henryk Leon Strasburger (born May 28, 1877 , † May 2, 1951 in London ) was a Polish politician and diplomat. He was Polish General Commissioner in the Free City of Danzig (1924–1932).

Strasburger studied in Heidelberg and Charkow . In 1913 he received his doctorate. From 1920 to 1923 he worked in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Second Polish Republic . Subsequently he was the Polish representative at the Free City of Danzig and was replaced by Kazimierz Papée in 1932 .

During the Second World War, Strasburger was a member of the Polish government in exile in Great Britain from 1939 to 1944 .
