Mindaugas Strumskis

Mindaugas Strumskis is a Lithuanian manager and former head of tax inspection at the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania .

Life

After graduating from secondary school, Strumskis completed his diploma in physics and obtained his doctorate on the subject of relaxation of non-thermalized electron-hole plasma in CdS nanocrystals embedded in glass at the Faculty of Physics at Vilniaus universitetas . From 1985 to 1995 he worked as a research assistant at VU and assistant for theoretical mechanics at Vilnius University of Technology . He then worked at Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija , from 2000 to 2002 as head of the tax inspection. From 2003 he worked as deputy director of SoDra ( social security authority ). Since 2001 he is a lecturer at the Law University of Lithuania , the tax law and financial law at the Economics Faculty of Mykolas Romeris University .

He continued his education in 1999 at Dalhousie University in Halifax (Nova Scotia) (Canada), in Porto ( Portugal ), in Dublin (Ireland), in Vienna (Austria), in Montreal (Canada), Deventer (Netherlands), Prague ( Czech Republic), Oslo (Norway), at the European Commission in Brussels (Belgium), Budapest (Hungary) and Durban (South Africa).
