Asad Umar (born September 8, 1961 in Rawalpindi ) is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018 . He was previously a member of the National Assembly from September 2013 to May 2018. He was Pakistan's Finance Minister from August 20, 2018 until his resignation on April 18, 2019 .
