Ašqudum

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ašqudum was a shiver of sacrifices in Mari at the time of Zimrī-Līm and husband of his sister Jamama . He assumed a central position within the palace administration and had his own archive, which was found during the excavations there. Along with the library of Aššurbanipal, this is one of the most important sources for researching divination in the ancient Orient.
