The Ashen Hills ( English for pale hills ) are a mountain range of rounded hills made of eroding light volcanic ash on Saunders Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . They end at Nattriss Point on the southeastern foothills of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee made the descriptive naming in 1971.
