Ashford Mansion , also Ashford House called, is a style of Colonial Revival house built in Ashford in the US state of Washington .
Ashford Mansion was made of Douglas fir in 1903 , as was the three-sided canopy and verandas on both sides of the first floor. Builder Cora Ashford not only named the Ashford House, but also the nearby town of Ashford in Pierce County . From 1903 to 1967 the house remained in family ownership, after the sale it was used as a residence and bed and breakfast .
On August 30, 1984, Ashford House was added to the National Register of Historic Places under reference number 84003560 .
