Aspasius of Auch
Aspasius von Auch ( Aspais ; † 560 ) was abbot in the city of Auch (Eauze / Gascogne). In 533, 541 and 549 he took part in the councils of Orléans . In 551 he held a regional council . Like St. Aspasius of Melun, the 2nd of January is dedicated to him.
Aspasius von Auch is possibly identical with Aspasius von Melun, but some sources list the two descriptions separately. The dates listed are also currently inconclusive.
