Aspasius of Melun
The Holy Aspasius (fr. Aspace , Aspais , in office from 549 (); † 550 or 573 ) was a bishop in the French Melun . He is counted among the saints and is the patron saint of Melun. His day is January 2nd .
In the form of the name Saint-Aspais or Saint Aspais , it can be found in several of today's building names and institute names in ecclesiastical, school and social forms.
Aspasius of Melun is possibly identical to Aspasius of Auch , but some sources list the two descriptions separately. The dates listed are also currently inconclusive.
The church of St-Aspais in Melun is dedicated to St. Dedicated to Aspasius.
