The Associação Atlética Francana , abbreviated as AA Francana , is a Brazilian football club from Franca in the state of São Paulo .
history
The AA Francana was founded on October 12, 1912. For a long time, the club played in the lower class of the state championship of São Paulo . In 1977 the team rose as champions of the second division for the first time and then played in the top division of the state championship until 1982. At the federal level, the greatest success was participation in the Série C , in which the club played several seasons in the 1990s.
