Association of MBAs
The Association of MBAs ( AMBA ) is a British accreditation body based in London .
Having initially only accredited UK MBA programs, the organization has since 1989 also accredited programs from non-UK based business schools . AMBA has accredited 189 business schools in 46 countries (as of 2012).
The Association was originally founded in 1967 to represent the interests of British MBA graduates. It still fulfills this function today as a second task alongside accreditation .
Membership is open to students and graduates from UK and selected foreign MBA programs. Approximately 12,000 students and graduates are currently taking advantage of this opportunity.
