An associogram is a visualized collection of words that come to mind when creating a central concept. There are different forms, including the word hedgehog . Associograms are mainly used for learning . The technology should facilitate the introduction to a topic.

In the basic form of the associogram , the word hedgehog , an oval or circle is drawn in the middle of the drawing area (sheet of paper, blackboard, drawing program), into which the central term is written. In the next step, the creator writes the words that occur to him for the term around the oval with the central term and links them with the oval with a line.

use

Associograms are often used in foreign language lessons or as a learning aid for learning foreign languages. Here, further terms are associated with a central term in the respective language.
