Astrid Rosenfeld (* 1977 in Cologne ) is a German writer .

Life

Astrid Rosenfeld was born in Cologne in 1977. Her professional goal was to become an actress after high school, so after graduating from high school she went to California to gain first professional experience in the theater. After her return to Germany, she began an acting training in Berlin, which she broke off after a year and a half. She then worked in various jobs in the film industry, for example as casting director for the movies Muxmäuschenstill and Knallhart . Her debut novel, Adams Erbe , was published in March 2011. She is the sister of the journalist Dagmar Rosenfeld . Astrid Rosenfeld lives in Berlin . Her novel Kinder des Zufall (2018) is set in the 1940s and 50s in Zuffenhausen and in the USA at the time of the Vietnam War .
