Trivia

At the end of 2017, the German Press Council expressed disapproval against Die Welt . The deputy editor-in-chief Dagmar Rosenfeld had published “Styling Tips for Politicians” before the 2017 federal election and advised her husband at the time, Christian Lindner, to ask his wife beforehand when choosing outerwear for commercials. Thereupon the press council found "an objective bias on the part of the journalist".

In April 2019, Rosenfeld responded with an ironic tweet to the star's uncritical reporting on the Greens chairman Robert Habeck : "Every eleven minutes, a Stern editor falls in love with a Greens." The sentence alludes to the advertising slogan of the dating portal Parship and was to the winged word, which in modification u. a. CDU politician Friedrich Merz and the conservative columnist Jan Fleischhauer quoted.
